Shreveport Amateur Radio Association

The club's monthly meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at 6:00 P.M..  The meeting location is the History Center of the Bossier Parish Public Library located at 2206 Beckett St. Bossier City, LA.  Typically the meeting, lasting about an hour, is divided into two parts, a business portion and a technical presentation. The technical presentations vary greatly, but always are geared toward the average knowledge of the members.

After the meeting concludes, several members will have dinner at some nearby resturant.

The meetings are open to the public and we invite those with an interest in ham radio to attend.

Membership in the association is open to all licensed amateur radio operators by a simple majority vote of the membership and payment of dues.  If you are not yet licensed, the club meetings are an excellent starting point to pass the initial simple exam for the Technician Class license.
